Big Brothers Big Sisters of Israel is pleased to announce the appointment of our new CEO, Roi Pilpel!

Roi will replace Libby Reichman, the founder of the organization, who has served as CEO for the past 8 years. Libby has been the soul of the organization, and pushed forward many amazing developments, including the creation of a partnership with Big Brothers Big Sisters International, and overseeing the development of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Israel from a tiny office in Jerusalem, to an organization with three separate branches, in Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, and Gush Etzion. Libby will continue to be an essential part of the the organization as our Director of Professional Development.

In recent years, Roi has worked for a number of social organizations, including as a "shaliach" for the Jewish Agency in Australia. Roi also served for many years as assistant director of Hadassim WIZO Youth Village, where he earned a wonderful reputation as a much beloved and exceptionally successful and capable director.

Our Board looks forward to the challenges that the future will bring and believes that with a new CEO and Director of Professional Development, the organization will be led in important and exciting directions. With this new constellation of management and creativity, we look forward to advancing the growth and scope of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Israel, enabling us to reach hundreds more children and youths who are currently waiting for a Big Brother or Sister.
