Online Bullying Prevention Social Leadership Program
Gefen No: 52305
When social media becomes the stage for real life – we choose to empower children and teens to lead change.
The Social Leadership Program for Online Violence Prevention, in collaboration with Dr. Avshalom Aderet, trains young people to be a positive, responsible, and empathetic voice, leading a respectful and safe digital revolution.
Program Goals
The Social Leadership and Online Violence Prevention Program trains children and teens to become ambassadors of change — to lead respectful dialogue, promote personal responsibility, serve as “gatekeepers,” and protect their peers in the digital space.
Following prolonged periods of social isolation — first due to the COVID-19 pandemic and later as a result of the security situation and the “Iron Swords” war — children and teens have found themselves spending long hours in front of screens, often without a supportive framework or adult guidance. This reality has led to a sharp rise in exposure to online violence and harm, highlighting the urgent need for young leadership and a focus on issues like verbal abuse and harmful behavior online.
Throughout the program, participants gain practical tools for coping with online harm, developing empathy, and promoting mutual responsibility. They then pass on the knowledge they’ve gained — guiding younger students, preventing harmful discourse in their own online groups, leading educational initiatives in schools, and serving as role models for constructive communication and safer digital environments.
Our youth ambassadors prove time and again: even online, you can choose kindness.
