Privacy Policy
We at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Israel (NGO) (hereinafter: “the Organization”) are committed to protecting the privacy of users of our website and take the privacy of our visitors and those who contact us very seriously. This page describes the privacy policy of the Organization’s website.
Providing Information on the Website
You are not legally required to provide us with personal information, and doing so depends on your free will and consent. Some services on the website require registration and the provision of personal details, for example when applying to volunteer or work with the Organization, or when referring children to the Organization.
During registration, you may be asked to provide personal information such as full name, email address, phone number, date of birth, and gender. Fields that are mandatory in order to receive the Organization’s services will be clearly marked.
When a child is referred to the Organization by a professional entity, confirmation of parental or legal guardian consent for entering the child’s information will be required.
Providing Information About a Third Party
If you provide information about another person (a third party), you declare that you have obtained that person’s explicit consent to provide their information to the Organization, for use in accordance with this policy and for the purposes of the Organization’s activities.
If you provide information about a third party who is a minor, you declare that you have obtained the explicit consent of the minor as well as the explicit consent of the minor’s parents or legal guardian to transfer the information to the Organization for use.
Professional Parties Related to Beneficiaries
As part of the Organization’s activities, during the intake and support process of beneficiaries, ongoing communication and information collection may take place with professional parties working with the child or youth, such as school counselors and social workers. In many cases, beneficiaries are referred to the Organization by professional entities through a digital referral form.
Since the Organization’s beneficiaries are minors, an initial referral form will first be sent by the referring professional for parental approval before any information about the beneficiary is transferred to the Organization.
This initial referral form includes explicit identification of the professional’s name and role, details regarding the nature of the information that may be provided, the purpose of data collection (building a therapeutic and/or educational background for the beneficiary), clarification of rights to access and correct the collected information, and written consent from both the parents and the referring professional to provide information about the beneficiary.
Donations Through the Website
When making a donation to the Organization through the website, you may be asked to provide personal details, including your email address for receipt issuance, as well as credit card details. Only accurate information should be provided.
Donations can also be made via applications such as bit, Jgive, and Igul Letova (Round Up for Good).
For other options, such as donations via standing orders or direct bank transfers, you may contact the Organization using the details provided on the website under the “Contact Us” section.
Transfer of Information to External Platforms During Credit Card Processing
When credit card payments are processed on the website, information transferred to external platforms (payment processors or payment service providers) may include: credit card details, customer details (name, address, email address, phone number), transaction amount, description of the purchased service, and billing address. Additional data may occasionally be required for customer identification or fraud prevention purposes.
Data Collection Tools
The website uses analytics tools such as Google Analytics to better understand how visitors use the site. These tools collect information such as website traffic analysis, data for digital marketing purposes, and demographic analysis of users.

The Organization uses systems approved by the Israeli Ministry of Education and follows procedures designed to reduce the risk of unauthorized access to its systems and computers.
