
One-On-One Model Based Programs
We recruit, train, and accompany adult mentors who support young brothers and sisters - children, adolescents, and young people in need of a positive, significant and stable figure. The long-term response focuses on empowering the young sibling and assisting them in the following ways
✓ Understanding the importance of education and helping them succeed
✓ Differentiating between good and bad
✓ Getting to know the strengths and abilities of the young brother or sister
✓ Mentorship for young people, supporting their transition from adolescence to adulthood, including integration into employment, education, and more
✓ Alleviating feelings of loneliness
✓ Recognizing the importance of giving and assisting others
✓ Maintaining physical and mental health

Group-Model Based Programs
The 'Big Brothers Big Sisters of Israel' association operates several programs that provide group support for children, adolescents, and young people in need of emotional, social, and/or educational guidance. These programs address varying needs
✓ Improving behavioral patterns and acquiring positive habits
✓ Acquiring social skills and managing social integration
✓ Enhancing communication skills and strengthening the connection between students and their families
Young Adults Program
Empowers teenagers for meaningful military and national service, facilitating their integration into society, emphasizing higher education and employment

Anchor Program
The program supports elementary school children experiencing family divorce or separation by pairing them with mentors who offer stability during this challenging time

Leaders of Change
Tailored solutions for Ethiopian students, focusing on social integration, fostering strong bonds with their families, and promoting understanding of Ethiopian culture

Youth Leadership
A program offers social and emotional support to high school students by Weekly sessions led by a coordinator focus on social awareness, and boosting self-esteem

Female Leadership
Workshops on personal empowerment, excellence, and healthy lifestyle, in partnership with Karmiel-Mashgav Women's Forum and the "Dror" club's leadership program in Karmiel

At Risk Youth Center
In collaboration with the Welfare Department, We operate two youth clubs in Karmiel, serving 36 youth, for positive educational environment

Connect
The program aims to creatively teach a second language, fostering a broader worldview, cultural understanding, and enhanced inclusion skills.

Join Us
Throughout the volunteering period, we will accompany you and be available for any question and request. The support includes ongoing counseling, workshops and professional trainings, communication channels with other volunteers and anything else that will allow you to make the process meaningful for you and your young sibling.
